His Mann ki Baat said it was the void that made him restless and was the main reason why he went to meditate in the cave in Kedarnath. The underlying reason behind it is that he went to seek his inner-self, the answers that lay beneath, the expectations of the people and more importantly, the way he will now operate. This is the reason why he went into isolation for a few moments.
