“I undertook the journey to meet my inner self. I shall not reveal more today but I certainly want to tell you that perhaps in that solitary cave, I got an opportunity to fill the vacuum caused by the long pause that Mann Ki Baat had to go through,” This is the way PM Modi operates, he tells you valuable things despite not revealing the real reason behind it.
His Mann ki Baat said it was the void that made him restless and was the main reason why he went to meditate in the cave in Kedarnath. The underlying reason behind it is that he went to seek his inner-self, the answers that lay beneath, the expectations of the people and more importantly, the way he will now operate. This is the reason why he went into isolation for a few moments.
True to that, meditation has some positive effects on our body. Maybe, this is the reason why most successful people in the world follow this practice. However, the question that pops up is —what is the benefit of this practice? So, let’s check them out.
Helps Control Stress and Anxiety
Stress reduction is one of the most common reasons people try meditation. And, we know why PM Modi went to Kedarnath!
Promotes Emotional health
Some forms of meditation can also lead to improved self-image and a more positive outlook on life.
Lengthens attention span:
Focused-attention meditation is like weight lifting for your attention span. It helps increase the strength and endurance of your attention.
May Generate Kindness:
Meditation may particularly increase positive feelings and actions toward yourself and others.
It can help relax your body, releasing tension and placing you in a peaceful state in which you’re more likely to fall asleep.
Damn! We people have been doing this so well and still, we end up on the receiving end of our mother’s anger. Now, we have a reason to sleep.
PM Modi has been a big promoter of Yoga, however, it is commendable to see how subtly he introduced the topic of meditation so that people can understand this is also important. Don’t you think this is his mantra for success?
