Spread the word

We’d just like to assume the fact that if you’re reading this, you have seen the show more than once. Well! You can’t just watch Friends and be done with it. That’s the best part of the show. You can watch it a zillion times and still not get bored with the energy that Ross, Monica, Rachel, Chandler, and Joey bring to life. So, on the 25th-anniversary celebration of the show, we look back at the 5 most iconic moments that are sure to linger for a lifetime.

‘The one with Unagi’ is sure to go down as one of the most iconic moments. Ross’s take on ‘complete awareness’ and how he tries to teach the same to Rachel but gets hilariously pranked.

2. Joey can’t speak French

We all have witnessed Joey’s antics and brainless humor but this one surely takes the cake. The one where Joey speaks French is one of the highlights of the show and Joey as a character that left audiences rolling on the floor. Phoebe had a pretty rough time trying to get Joey to repeat some of the simplest phrases. What a moment it was.

3. Chandler proposes to Monica

The season 6 finale had us all reaching for the tissues. Chandler was the king of sarcasm but surprised the lot with his extremely romantic display of affection. Monica was left surprised and in tears. We all were just waiting for the moment and boy did it unfold well.

4. Smelly Cat, Smelly Cat

When you think of Phoebe you automatically sing this song. The sixth episode of season two started the trend and the future episodes only made it funnier. One of the most iconic moments of the entire show and a highlight of Phoebe’s character.

5. Rachel gets off the plane

The final season was all farewell and goodbye’s but this was a special one. Everyone got a happy ending except for the highlight couple of the series ‘Ross and Rachel’. At least that’s what it made the fans feel until the last moment when Rachel finally decided to get off the plane and spend the rest of her life with Ross.

We so wished the show lasted forever. All we can do now is binge watch the series over and over again regardless of the mood, time or place and it’ll bring a smile to all our faces.
